Just a few more days before the JoWaPao trio is complete.
In an interview with Coconuts Manila and other members of the press during the PEP List Awards 2016 on Sun, Aug 21, Wally Bayola said Paolo Ballesteros will return to Eat Bulaga very soon.
He even gave a time frame. Paolo should be back by last week of August or September, Wally said.
Wally did say only the Eat Bulaga management can confirm Paolo’s return — but he does sound sure it may happen sooner than later.
“Wala pa naman siyang sinasabi, pero malapit na malapit na. September or last week of August, mga ganun. Di ko alam. Ang makakapagsabi o makakapag-confirm lang ay ang management,” he said.
(He hasn’t said anything, but very, very soon. Some time September or last week of August. I don’t know. Only management can confirm.)
Paolo, aside from being an online sensation for his makeup transformations on Instagram, is a co-host on Eat Bulaga. He plays Lola Tidora as part of the trio that includes Wally as Lola Nidora and Jose Manalo as Lola Tinidora in the popular “Kalyeserye” segment.
But he has been absent on Eat Bulaga since March. According to reports, he was suspended from the show because of his behavior during an ad summit in Subic.

He’s in good company.
Wally, too, was suspended from Eat Bulaga between Sep 2013 and Feb 2014 after being involved in a sex video scandal.
He has since recovered from the controversy. During the PEP List Awards, he was named Male Comedy Star of the Year.
What advice he did give Paolo?
“Ang talagang advice lang namin sa isa’t isa: pray lang,” Wally said.
(Our advice is each other is just pray.)
He added: “Sabi nya sa akin dati, ‘Girl, pray lang.’ So yun din sinabi ko sa kanya. ‘Girl, pray lang. Pray lang talaga. Kung ano in-advice mo sa akin noon, nakatulong ng malaki. Ito rin, ibabalik ko sayo’.”
(He told be before, ‘Girl, just pray.’ So that’s what I told him. ‘Girl, just pray. Really, just pray. What you told me before helped me a lot.)
