A different kind of drive through: Car crashes through McDonald’s outlet in Bacolod City

At around 4:30am on Thu, Aug 24, Jeffrey Baldomero, 50, drove his Honda Civic to a McDonald’s outlet in Bacolod City. Shockingly enough, he ended up crashing through the fastfood outlet.

“Baldomero later told the police that he was supposed to park his car but he accidentally stepped on the gas pedal which caused the car to accelerate,” reports Martian Muyco on ABS-CBNnews.com.

Two customers were injured after Baldomero’s Honda Civic rammed through the glass panels of the storefront. The injured customers were immediately rushed to the hospital.

Police are likewise investigating if Baldomero was under the influence of alcohol when the incident happened, as they saw a bottle of beer just beside his car.
