Police release sketch of Davao City blast suspect

Let’s hope they got the right man and that he gets caught soon.

The Philippine National Police has released a cartographic sketch of one of the suspects in the Davao City blast which took the lives of 15 people and  14 and injured more than 60 others.

Initially, the death toll following the blast was reported as 14, but one more victim died in the hospital.

“Police later discovered that the improvised explosive device (IED) used in Sep 2 night market blast was made out of two mortar rounds,” reports Christine C. Cudis on Philstar.com.

The sketch of one of the suspects of the blast was presented at a press conference in Police Regional Office (PRO) 11’s Camp Quintin Merecido in Davao City.

The male suspect is described as “thin, looks 5’7″ tall, and around 30 years old.” The description of the suspect is based on witness accounts and CCTV footage.
