Charo Santos says Kris Aquino is welcome to return to ABS-CBN anytime

By now, we all know that Kris Aquino has already left her long-time home network ABS-CBN.

It looks like Kris did not burn any bridges when she left the network.

Charo Santos, former president and CEO and now chief content officer of ABS-CBN, said Kris is “welcome back anytime.”

“Of course, the doors of ABS-CBN are always open to people who want to work with us again,” Charo told Ricky Lo of The Philippine Star

She added: “But you wait for the stars to align for it to happen. It’s not the decision of just one person. And, yes, Kris is welcome back anytime.”

Charo said she did not feel slighted when Kris left the network. ” I wish her all the best and thanked her for all the years that she has worked for ABS-CBN and I acknowledged that she has given so much relief and happiness, and delighted our viewers,” she said. Sounds like press release but we’ll take it, Charo.

But is there a chance Kris will return to ABS-CBN?

That’s probably not likely. Kris has not signed up with GMA, but her new co-manager, Tony Tuviera, is closely associated with ABS-CBN’s rival network.

There are rumors that Kris will do a game show which will be produced (or co-produced) by Tuviera and will air on GMA.

Kris is also rumored to co-star in the upcoming soap opera of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza (who is also managed by Tuviera). But Ricky Lo reports Kris is doing “something else.”

Whatever that is, all we can do is wait and be surprised by Kris’ next move.
