Kris Aquino: ‘If it doesn’t open, it’s not your door’

Another day, another cryptic message courtesy of Kris Aquino.

The so-called Queen of All Media took to Instagram on Sat, Sep 24, to share three “lessons” which seem to be about her recent career choices.

The first “lesson” Kris posted caught our attention: “If it doesn’t open, it’s not your door.”

Could Kris’ statement be an answer to Charo Santos’ interview about her departure from ABS-CBN?

In an interview last week, Charo said Kris is welcome back in ABS-CBN anytime. “Of course, the doors of ABS-CBN are always open to people who want to work with us again.”

Could this be Kris’ way of saying the doors of ABS-CBN have already closed on her?

Conversely, could Kris’ Instagram post mean the doors of GMA — where her first program after leaving ABS-CBN will reportedly air — did not open for her?

It can be remembered that Kris said she will start taping for her new project on Sep 22. But did this not push through, prompting showbiz pundits to think that Kris may have changed her mind about working with GMA.

Apparently, there are rumors (unsubstantiated, so far) that Kris is having second thoughts about her career choices.

“Hindi believable sa iba ang balita na type ni Kris Aquino na bumalik sa ABS-CBN. Pero kung kilala nila ang tunay na Kris Aquino, capable ito na bumalik sa ABS-CBN, kahit naglabas na siya ng pralala na nag-babu na siya sa Kapamilya Network at pumirma ng kontrata sa APT Entertainment,” wrote talent manager Lolit Solis on her Pang-Masa column on Mon, Sep 26.

(For some, the news that Kris Aquino wants to go back to ABS-CBN is not believable. But if they knew the real Kris Aquino, she is capable of returning to ABS-CBN, if even she already released a statement saying goodbye to ABS-CBN and signed a contract with APT Entertainment.)

Likewise, an item on tabloid Pilipinas Star Ngayon said the staff of APT Entertainment were “nawindang” (shocked) that the taping for Kris’ new show did not push through last week.

Of course, in the end, all of this could mean nothing. Kris Aquino is Kris Aquino, after all.

For those interested, here are Kris’ other two “lessons.”
