It looks like Agot Isidro isn’t one to back down from a fight.
Days after she called President Rodrigo Duterte a psychopath, the singer-actress took to social media yet again to show she is not going to be affected by negative comments over her controversial statement.
In an Instagram post on Wed, Oct 12, Agot wrote: “Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one’s definition of your life; define yourself.”
Agot received both praise and flak after criticizing Duterte in a Facebook post on Sat, Oct 7. This is after Duterte dared the United States and the European Union to withdraw their assistance to the Philippines.
Part of Agot’s statement reads: “May kilala akong psychiatrist. Patingin ka. Hindi ka bipolar. You are a psychopath.”
(I know a psychiatrist. Have yourself checked. You are not bipolar. You are a psychopath.)
Fellow actors such as Cherry Pie Picache and Robin Padilla defended Agot over the controversy.

“Lahat naman tayo ay may opinyon dahil tayo ay nasa malayang bansa,” Robin wrote in a Facebook post.
(“We all have opinions because we are a free country.”)
Duterte, meanwhile, shrugged off Agot’s comment, saying she has a “right to free expression.”
“May nagalit isang artista sa akin na ano raw ako, ‘psychopath.’ I leave her to her Constitutional right to free expression. She should enjoy that,” he said.
