Kris: Bimby found out he had a new half-brother via Facebook

We don’t want to be judgmental, but this is probably not the best way to find out you have a new half-brother.

Kris Aquino revealed that during detergent brand Ariel’s Wash Your Fears Summit on Tue, Oct 12 that her son Bimby found out that he has a new baby half-brother via Facebook.

It may be recalled that James Yap’s Italian girlfriend Michela Cazzola gave birth to baby Michael James last Aug. 

At the time, James said he hasn’t had the chance to tell Bimby, his nine-year-old son with Kris, that he has a new sibling.
 
It’s been two months and it turns out the cager has yet to tell Bimby the good news.

“I’ll be honest, I was afraid of how Bimb would react about his new sibling,” Kris said. 

She also said: “I’ll bring it out in the open. My child found out about it on Facebook. It was not known to him.”

Kris added she’s not “disparaging” James and Michela and she wants them to be “happy and peaceful.” “Pero, yun lang, nasaktan ako kasi my son deserved to find out. Sana diniretso sa kanya. (I wish they told him directly.)”

Yikes.

The TV host-actress already talked to Bimby about their unusual scenario and told the young boy that they can “make a call” once he’s ready to meet his little brother.

“I’ve been discussing it with him and I’ve been saying, ‘Please tell me when you’re ready. Let’s make a call. Let’s be the ones to call them and say, ‘Hey, I’d like to meet my brother.’ And then, Bimb said, ‘Okay, Mama, I’ll tell you when’,” she explained.

We hope they can fix whatever problems they have with each other soon. Bimby deserves to see his new brother if he wants to, after all.
