Queen of all Philippine Media Kris Aquino brought her son Bimby to a very special meeting on Sat (Oct 22) afternoon.
For the first time ever, Bimby met his baby brother — the newborn son of his father James Yap with Italian girlfriend Michela Cazzola.
Aquino shared with the media that she was hurt with Yap’s decision of not telling Bimby about the baby, but she’s glad the couple agreed to the weekend visit.
“I reached out to James and asked if it would be okay for Bimb to meet his baby brother,” Kris wrote on Instagram. “I prayed a lot for this day to arrive when we’d all be ready, because I just want what is best for my bunso. Thank you James and Mic for graciously welcoming us into your home.”
Kris said Michella even made carbonara for Bimby and baked Italian chocolate pie for their merienda (snack).
In another photo of Kris, Bimby, and Michella, Kris shared a few words of wisdom for the new mom.
“There’s no perfect formula for mothering except to do it with love,” Kris wrote.
“I am grateful that today we gave our sons the opportunity to meet and hopefully have genuine bonding as brothers,” she adds. “Because in the end, the good men we are able to raise will be products of our guidance and unconditional love as mothers.”
According to an ABS-CBN News report, Yap, who was not present in Kris’ photos, clarified in a previous radio interview that he wanted Bimby to meet his baby brother, but he wasn’t given a lot of opportunities to visit Bimby.
