On Tue, Oct 25, things started out really rough on EDSA with six vehicular accidents happening in a span of three hours.
The following accidents logged by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) were listed on Inquirer.net:
- At 4:37am, a van and a bus figured in an accident on the southbound lane in the vicinity of Reliance Street.
- At around 6:30 am, two cars hit each other in the same area.
- At 6:16am, a car and a cab crashed into each other on the southbound lane near the Boni MRT station.
- Sometime past 7am, a car and a motorcycle collided on the southbound lane near Quezon Avenue.
- At 7:23am, another car and another motorcycle crashed into each other near Shaw Boulevard.
- Then, at around, 7:39am, , two cars figured in an accident on the southbound lane near the Monte de Piedad area.
What’s even worse is that these first six accidents were just samples of other traffic woes that may very well plague EDSA all throughout the day.
