Police name suspect in Frenchman’s rob-slay

Southern Police District (SPD) officials have identified one of the suspects in the robbery and killing of a French tourist in Pasay City on March 8.

In a news conference, SPD deputy director Senior Superintendent Conrado Capa identified the suspect as Richard Adilan, said to be part of the Alvin Flores gang. He will be charged with robbery with homicide for killing Pierre Paul Franz Hofman.

The suspect was reportedly seen driving a 1990 Toyota Corolla with license plate PPV-904. Three other men were seen riding a motorcycle shortly after the French tourist was shot.

The SPD official also said that the .45 caliber shells recovered from Hofman’s crime scene matched the shells from the Robinson’s Metro East mall robbery last June 22, 2012, the Philippine Star reported.
