Souls of Manila: Nathalie Zani in Makati

Nathalie Zani, 24, was born in Grasse, France. She came to Manila with her family when she was five. She was sent to study at Ecole Francaise de Manille and later at the International School Manila. Upon graduating, she left for the US to study psychology and pre med. But before she could graduate, she decided to come back to Manila where her family is now based. Currently she is helping her father with his business and does tutoring as well. She still doesn’t know what the future holds for her, but she is pretty sure that wherever life takes her, Manila will always be her home. She likes hanging out at Mary Grace Home Bakery and Cafe in Greenbelt 2, Ayala Center, Makati because she finds it cozy.

Souls of Manila is a new Coconuts series of street portrait photography inspired by Brandon Stanton’s Humans of New York. Every human has a story to tell, and we intend to share some from the millions of souls who call Metro Manila home.
