Janet Napoles isn’t dying, says doctor

She hasn’t blown any whistles and she’s costing us even more money.

“Contrary to the claim made by her lawyer, Fay Isaguirre Singson, alleged pork scam queen Janet Lim-Napoles does not have an ovarian cyst. She has a cyst in the uterus, however, and it is not life-threatening,” reports Amita Legaspi on GMA News Online.

Philippine National Police (PNP)-General Hospital OB-Gynecologist, Chief Inspector Michelle Daguno, who checked Naples, declared: “(It’s not) life threatening at this point.”

Meanwhile an ABS-CBNnews.com report revealed that the whole process of transporting Napoles from her detention cell at the Special Action Forces (SAF) facility in Fort Sto. Domingo, Laguna to the Camp Crame hospital costs a total of PHP123,000. That’s PHP3,000 for the medical procesures and PHP120,000 for the trip.

Earlier reports alleged that it costs PHP150,000 to transport Napoles from Laguna to Metro Manila, but maybe that’s when there’s a hearing. Either way, the price tag hurts taxpayers.
