Suspect in ‘viral photo’ incident arrested

The details aren’t all in yet, but at least there’s some light slowly being shed on the case.

“On Sunday, September 7, Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas confirmed that an arrest has been made in relation to the viral photo that made the rounds in social media last Monday showing several men aiming what looked like guns at a vehicle on EDSA,” reports Jeff Canoy on ABS-CBNnews.com.

The report noted: “In a text message to ABS-CBN News, Roxas said one suspect has been apprehended while a manhunt operation is ongoing for the other suspects.”

The report also added that “sources from the Philippine National Police said the arrest is a result of the strengthened PNP anti-criminality drive, Oplan Lambat.”

Obviously, though, the police still can’t give the public more information.
