By the numbers: This is what you can expect from Madonna’s Rebel Heart show

Madonna’s devirginizing gig in Metro Manila is two months away — do you have your tickets yet?

She will be performing on Feb 24 & 25 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Parañaque.

According to a press statement Coconuts Manila received from local promoters Music Management International Live, Madonna will be singing 23 songs per night, with 22 videos played on the rear screens.

While her New York show in September promised Manila audience the possibility of a provocative but emotional Madge, her Montreal gig showcased mad proportions of production magic. Witness:

 

  • 2,500,000 Swarovski crystals adorning Madonna’s costumes that saw
  • 10,000 hours of creation
  • 1,000 wardrobe pieces for her backup performers
  • 500 pairs of custom-made shoes
  • 2,150,400 LED pixels will adorn the rear screens of the stage
  • 140,000 pounds of lights, sound and video equipment
  • 55,000 pounds of the moveable stage ramp
  • 180 people working and traveling throughout the tour
  • 121 days of rehearsals
  • 25 string instruments will be used during the show
  • 20 dancers
  • 13-drum drum kit
  • 7 bouncing sway poles
  • 6 custom design sets
  • 4 static poles arising from the stage

Meanwhile, so many promos have been created for Madonna’s first Philippine concert. There’s the Rebel Heart staycation package at Sofitel. PHP65,000 will get you two lower box tickets (that’s PHP33,600 a pop) for the Feb 25 show with an overnight stay in a luxury room, breakfast, and shuttle service to SM MOA. 

Globe meanwhile, is offering free seat upgrades if you buy your tickets at their “Follow the Rebel Heart” events.  

And then there’s SM Tickets’ zero-interest, six-month installment plan for over-the-counter purchases of lower box tickets.  

Insane.
