Pepita’s Kitchen wins Adam Richman’s heart with truffle lechon

Lechon just took the center stage on Adam Richman’s Facebook. Soon, it will be featured on the Travel Channel too. The classic Pinoy symbol for a festive meal is out to put the Philippines in the map of wonderful eats.

Adam Richman Lechon

Known for his show Man VS Food, Richman took a trip to the Philippines in January, and he enjoyed a wonderful degustation at Pepita’s Kitchen. 

He had the famed lechon de leche stuffed with Dedet dela Fuente’s signature black truffle rice.

Along with his lechon, he also enjoyed Enter the Dragon (Disteleria Limtuaco’s Calamanci & Dragon Fruit Liqueur), Black Gold (Dinuguuan), Ginseng Egg (Balut Salpicao), and the famed Super Suman (sticky rice) & Mango Trifle. According to Dedet, Adam particularly loved hiplog, a huge shrimp in salted egg sauce. 

In honor of Adam’s visit, The Lechon Diva herself introduced Richman’s Degustacion, available at Pepita’s Kitchen.
