Can she give the Philippines a back-to-back victory in the Miss Universe pageant?
Maxine Medina, a 25-year-old interior designer and model from Quezon City, was named 2016 Miss Universe Philippines at the Binibining Pilipinas coronation night on Mon, Apr 18. She bested heavy favorites Kylie Verzosa, Nicole Cordovers, and Nichole Manalo for the much-coveted title.
She also has the tough job of representing the Philippines in the 2016 Miss Universe after Pia Wurtzbach’s win last year.
