Despite the very stiff competition, James Reid and Nadine Lustre are doing pretty well at the box office.
In an Instagram post, Viva Entertainment announced that the JaDine movie This Time earned PHP15 million on its first day of release on Wed, May 4.
That’s just PHP1 million pesos less than what the competition made!
Star Cinema earlier announced that its John Lloyd Cruz-Jennylyn Mercado starrer Just The 3 Of Us earned PHP16 million.
Competition will get tougher next week though. Derek Ramsay and Shaina Magdayao’s election-themed romantic-comedy My Candidate will open commercially in theaters on May 11.
