Last week, Salve Asis of the tabloid Pilipino Star Ngayon reported that Gerald Anderson will have a reunion project with ex-girlfriend and former screen partner Kim Chiu.

Asis wrote Kim will replace Yen Santos as Gerald’s leading lady in the upcoming ABS-CBN drama Because You Love Me.
But in an interview with ABS-CBN News on Sat, Sep 17, Kim denied the rumored comeback of her love team with Gerald.
The 26-year-old actress even said she is being bashed online because of the report!
“Hindi ko nga po alam kung saan galing ‘yon eh. Kung sinu-sino na lang po, bina-bash na lang ako,” Kim said.
(I don’t know where that came from. People have just started bashing me.)
She added: “Pero wala pa pong ganun.” (There is no project with Gerald)
Kim’s last regular TV project is the late night drama The Story of Us with Xian Lim. The show got lukewarm reception and was off the air after four months.
Gerald, meanwhile, is having a sort of second wind. He had two hit movies this year, Always Be My Maybe with Arci Muñoz and How To Be Yours with Bea Alonzo.
ABS-CBN has yet to make an announcement about Because You Love Me and if Yen Santos has indeed been replaced by Kim (or another actress).
Until then, we’ll take Kim’s word for it.
It’s been six years since Gerald and Kim broke up.
Ironically, Gerald is rumored to be dating Bea, whom he first dated in 2010.
Back then, Bea was reportedly bashed for being romantically linked to Gerald despite him being attached to Kim as a love team.
The wheels of the bus really go round and round.
