When you go online, some people are just so inherently cruel to celebrities. In some respects, it’s amusing, but maybe it’s also worth some reflection. Celebrities are people, too, you know.

This could be why some local celebrities are taking on the tough task of recording themselves while reading mean tweets from their haters. In fact, actress and host Isabelle Daza has dubbed herself in-charge of a clip called Haters Gonna Hate, which she uploaded on her Facebook page. For her first installment, she recruited Anne Curtis, Solenn Heussaff and Gerald Anderson to read some nega tweets.

“We’re on to you… haters!” Belle wrote as a caption to the video.

From Anne’s eyebags, to Belle’s acting abilities, to Solenn’s fingers, to Gerald’s underarms, stars took the criticisms with a grain of salt and gave brilliant retorts to the mean-spirited messages.

The reel, however, is not the first of its kind. On Sep. 10, Kathryn Bernardo also demonstrated how what a good sport she is as she read some negative comments for Preview. The clip quickly went viral and now has more than 600,000 views.
