Please leave Jaclyn Jose’s granddaughter alone.

The actress dismissed idle rumors that actor Albie Casiño had taken a DNA paternity test to determine if he is the father of her granddaughter Ellie. As far as she is concerned, there is no need to find out the identity of the her daughter Andi Eigenmann’s child, who is now almost four years old.

“Parang wala naman akong nabalitaang kumuha ng dugo kay Ellie! Paano niya nakuhanan ng dugo si Ellie at saka si Andi?” Jaclyn told PEP.ph. (DNA paternity testing for a child actually involves a cheek swab, not blood extraction.)

Andi and Albie hogged showbiz headlines in 2011 when the Kapamilya actress claimed Casiño as the ‘baby daddy’ — she even wrote a blog post about it — despite persistent rumors that said otherwise.

To this day, no one knows who the real father of Ellie is and that’s thanks to lola.

“Sinabihan ko rin si Andi, ‘No DNA [testing] for anyone. Kaya nating buhayin na tayo lang,'” she shared. “Apat na taon na si Ellie in two months. So, kumbaga, wala na. Your time is up, whoever you are, no DNA [test] for everybody. Napalaki ko ‘yan. Ako ang nakabantay diyan, e,” the grandmother said.

The 51-year-old veteran actress also vowed to be a protective grandparent, saying she will not allow anyone ot harm Ellie.

“I will protect my apo all the way. If I cannot deal with Andi anymore because she’s at her right age na, definitely with Ellie, I will always protect my grand apo. I will never let anyone harm her,” Jaclyn said.

“Leave Ellie alone. Leave my granddaughter alone,” the grandmom warned.
