Good news for all fans of Tirso Cruz III: he is now cancer-free.
Not everyone knows that the actor was diagnosed with lung cancer back in 2014 and that he underwent an operation in September 2014. “Wala na yung cancer after my last check-up, my last CT scan,” he told Ruben Marasigan of Pep.ph. “After my operation, everything was declared well by my doctor. Right now, I’m taking my regular vitamins.”
The born-again Christian also recalled that when he found out about the disease, he naturally felt fear and panic but didn’t lose hope. “Kaya nung nalaman ko na wala na yung cancer, of course abut-abot ang pasasalamat ko sa Diyos. There’s none other to thank but God.”
