It had to happen right before Christmas.
“About 165 families were left homeless just a week before Christmas after fire razed two separate residential areas in Quezon City on Wednesday morning, December 17,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.
In Barangay Doña Imelda, around 50 houses burned down. The blaze was said to have started at the third floor of the house of a certain Medardo Dalib.
The fire also razed five apartment units in Barangay Socorro. The blaze reportedly started at Unit 9, and was believed to have been caused by electrical overload.
All in all, over 150 families were said to have been rendered homeless.
