Crane collapses at Port of Manila

It looks like a fallen giant robot.

“On Monday morning, July 14, a gantry crane collapsed at the Port of Manila, hitting least 25 40-foot container vans and leaving one person injured,” reports dzMM correspondent Noel Alamar on ABS-CBNnews.com.

The report further revealed that one of the container vans then fell on a trailer truck.

The lucky truck driver managed to jump out of the truck before the container van crushed the vehicle. However, the report didn’t clarify if it was he who was injured from the crash.

Authorities theorized that the land where the crane was standing gave way, resulting in the collapse.
