Yesterday, we reported about Jessy Mendiola’s viral photo with actress Vilma Santos, the mother of her rumored boyfriend (and confirmed suitor) Luis Manzano.

In a message sent to Pep.ph, Luis Manzano confirmed that, yes, Jessy and Vilma did meet recently.
According to the Minute To Win It host, his mom invited him and Jessy to dinner to check up on him.
Luis added Vilma also wanted to check up on Jessy “regarding all the unwarranted bashing going her way.”
Luis’ complete statement to Pep.ph reads: “My mom just invited us for dinner to talk and check up on me and also to meet and check up on Jessy regarding all the unwarranted bashing going her way.”
How sweet!
Jessy, 23, is receiving a lot of flak online after she and Luis admitted that they’re dating.

Angel Locsin further ignited the flame when fans thought she insinuated that there was a third party involved in her split with ex-boyfriend Luis.
But Luis defended Jessy and said Jessy was not the reason he and Angel broke up.
